Why Teach?
From a young age I always admired teachers and their ability to be selfless and provide not only a place to learn but an environment where kids felt safe. I knew that being a teacher was something that I would be interested in but once I started working as a gymnastics coach I was absolutely convinced it was the right path for me. It truly is so fun getting to see my students thrive and learn new things and I can only imagine how amazing it must be as a real teacher. Another big reason I decided on teaching was because of my fifth grade teacher, she truly cared for her students well being and happiness and as one of her students I definitely felt appreciated and not just any student. I watched her be generous and loving in her class room and I knew I wanted to be just like her when I grew up.
